Artificial Intelligence is slowly making advances in the healthcare industry, with each new model from tech companies getting better at analyzing health-related queries. Despite the new technology, the way to treat patients has remained largely the same, with doctors using stethoscopes hanging around their necks to access the internal organs of their patients.
The nifty item that has been a part of a doctor’s toolkit since 1816 has now received an AI-powered upgrade. The new AI stethoscope can diagnose three heart conditions—Heart failure (HF), atrial fibrillation (AF), and valvular heart disease (VHD)—in just 15 seconds.
While the traditional stethoscope listens to sounds inside the body, like a heartbeat or breathing, the AI-powered stethoscope goes further than that and can pick up on tiny changes in the heartbeat or blood flow that a human ear would miss. Meanwhile, it can also perform a quick ECG (electrocardiogram) at the same time.
The new device, which is the size of a playing card, has been showcased by researchers at Imperial College London and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as part of a study in the UK called TRICORDER.
The device can also connect via Bluetooth to a dedicated smartphone app where the captured data can be visualized. Meanwhile, it uses cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity to access cloud-based AI algorithms to work its magic. These algorithms are managed by the UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and are said to show promising results.
“The statistical performance of these three AI algorithms has been shown to be high and consistent against international external validation studies,” authors of the research paper wrote in the BMJ Open journal.
How does the AI stethoscope work?
The AI stethoscope is placed on the chest of a patient to take an ECG recording of the electrical signals from their heart while its microphone records the sound of their blood flowing through the heart.
This information is then sent to the cloud to be analyzed by the AI algorithms that have been trained on health data from tens of thousands of people and can detect subtle heart problems that a human may have missed.
The test result, which indicates whether the patient is flagged as at risk for heart failure or not, is then sent straight back to the smartphone.
The British Heart Foundation, which partly funded the study, states that people examined using the AI stethoscopes were “2.33 times more likely to be diagnosed with heart failure, 3.45 times more likely to be diagnosed with atrial fibrillation, and 1.92 times more likely to be diagnosed with heart valve disease in the next 12 months.”

Kishore Moodbidri ensures Swamy isn’t someone you “understand”; he is someone you experience.
The narrative unfolds like a mosaic stitched with half-truths, gossip, memories and relentless violence. Tulu slang and Malnad folk rhythms drive the storytelling, a chaotic declaration that this is no conventional thriller. Credit here goes to Samuel Abby, whose score blends folk with violent tempos. Cinematographer Ranganth CM turns the Malnad landscape into a breathing character, intercutting it with close-ups that make Rippan Swamy’s face a map of contradictions.
At the centre is Vijay Raghavendra in what may be his career’s most radical role. Shedding his clean-cut persona, he embodies Rippan Swamy as both butcher and broken man. One moment, he shoulders rifles with operatic swagger, and the next, he longs to love his wife, Mangala, in a possessive and fractured way. For those who’ve tracked Vijay’s versatility, this is a daring addition to his repertoire, but the audience’s reception is the big challenge.
Ashwini as Mangala anchors the film’s emotional core. Her life without stepping outside, and her dream buried under domestic weight, becomes a subplot about suffocated women in small-town India. Her quiet strength stands in stark contrast to Swamy’s volatile chaos. Will she rise and claim her due? The film leaves the question hanging, lingering like an aftertaste and springing a twist in its wake.
The supporting ensemble is more than ornamental. Santhosh (Santhosh Shetty) evolves from companion to casualty of Swamy’s rage. Kuppu, once his closest ally, drifts into bitter enmity. Inspector Anand (Vajradheer Jain), balancing law and old friendship, portrays moral conflict. Even fleeting presences like Sharada (Yamuna Srinidhi) and Inspector Anjumala (Anushka) carry weight. Brief humour from Prakash Thuminad and others punctuates the narrative, but laughter is quickly consumed by the darkness circling Swamy.
The action is audacious. The opening stretch itself is a long fight sequence, setting a tone that recurs throughout: elongated, unrelenting battles that dare the viewer to fatigue. Rural vendettas, bloodstains and hand-to-hand brutality aren’t just a spectacle; they double up as metaphors for Swamy’s disintegration. His friends bury what they don’t comprehend. His wife questions his bizarre ways. His enemies circle like vultures. Swamy emerges as both victim and perpetrator, undone by the world and by himself.
Yet the film is not without cracks. The runtime is indulgent. The screenplay meanders mid-way, wandering into subplots that feel like detours. The heavy dialect and coded dialogues enrich authenticity but risk alienating audiences unfamiliar with Malnad or Tulu. Still, the final moments pull the threads together with Swamy’s refusal to surrender, even as his world collapses, sealing his fate with tragic inevitability.
Rippan Swamy is not designed for easy consumption. It is raw, loud, bloody, uneven and often exasperating. Yet it breathes, bursting with local flavour, moral ambiguity and feverish energy that mainstream thrillers rarely risk. Much like its protagonist, the film is unpredictable, unsettling and impossible to ignore.
Basically, Rippan Swamy is a rural thriller with part folklore, part mystery, and part bloodbath. Admire it or detest it, you cannot walk away without carrying Rippan’s scars, and it is definitely not for the faint-hearted.

Rains lashed several parts of Haryana on Monday, including Gurugram, which faced severe traffic snarls and waterlogging throughout the day.
Gurugram authorities have announced online classes for school students on September 2, while issuing a work from home advisory for private offices.
“According to the instructions issued by DC Ajay Kumar, all corporate and private offices in the district have been advised to allow employees to work from home. This will help ease traffic congestion on the roads and spare employees from the hardships of commuting in inclement weather. Along with this, the district administration has directed all schools to conduct only online classes on 2nd September, ensuring the safety of students and preventing inconvenience to parents,” an official said.

Rains have lashed major parts of Delhi and Noida, with the capital city facing massive traffic snarls amid incessant downpour. Metro services were halted in Rajiv Chowk, leaving hundreds of office commuters stranded.

If you’re on the hunt for a good 4K streaming stick, and you don’t care about the lack of Dolby Vision support, this is a solid deal.
This is a match of the best price we’ve seen for our favorite budget mesh Wi-Fi router. It supports Wi-Fi 6, which should still be fine for most people even though Wi-Fi 7 is already a thing. The Deco X20 has solid coverage and performance, especially with the three routers you’ll get with this deal (though singles and two-packs are also on sale if you’re in a small space). They’re easy to set up and they have optional parental controls and antivirus protection. You can also split the two 2.4-GHz and 5-GHz Wi-Fi bands, which will help if you’re running any smart home devices that explicitly require one or the other.
The Sony Bravia 7 II has been on sale for this price for a little while, but we have yet to see it drop lower. It’s in our Best TVs buying guide as the pick with the most immersive picture. It has natural yet vivid colors and excellent picture processing. Reviewer Ryan Waniata says it renders 4K and HD scenes “so clearly you’ll feel like they’re going to spill into your living room.” It could have better black levels and a few more ports, but it’s still an excellent set, especially at this price.
The iPad Air is our favorite upgrade iPad. If you need an iPad that you can rely on for important tasks like work or school, this is a very safe bet. The M3 chip makes graphics-intensive tasks look great, and the design is nice and modern with Touch ID built into the power button and USB-C charging. This tablet can handle multiple tasks running in the background and it’ll get you about 10 hours of battery life per charge. The Apple iPad (A16, 2025) is the iPad we recommend for most people. It comes in fun colors like blue and yellow, and it’s plenty powerful to handle whatever you’ll throw at it on a day-to-day basis—from playing games to streaming videos to browsing the web. It doesn’t support Apple Intelligence, which may be a blessing or a curse depending on whom you ask. It does have a modern bezel design around its 11-inch LCD screen, plus USB-C charging, a Touch ID sensor, and two 12-megapixel cameras—one in the back and one for selfies. It also works with many of the best iPad accessories.
The M4 Apple MacBook Air is the best MacBook for most people. This is the cheapest we’ve seen it. Where some MacBooks are overkill for basic everyday tasks, this lightweight model can handle them with ease—and you won’t be paying for performance that you won’t use. It has a bright display, long battery life, and support for up to two external displays as well as Apple Intelligence. And while you might want something else if you’ll be doing heavy video editing or need a giant screen, the M4 MacBook Air will be capable of handling multiple Google Chrome tabs and apps running in the background. We do wish it had some more ports, but you can always use a USB hub to customize them further.
These are the best noise-canceling earbuds we’ve tried. They have excellent sound quality and battery life, plus solid control options, and they’re comfortable to wear for long periods of time. But where they truly excel is in active noise canceling. They can make a busy subway car or crowded airplane disappear entirely, lending you extra focus or decompression with no effort.

The Fitbit Charge 6 is the best fitness tracker overall. It has gone on sale for $100 in the past, but $125 is a pretty good deal, since it regularly jumps up to full price. It looks nice and has all the features most folks would want, like step counting, sleep tracking, stats on calories burned and workout effectiveness, heart rate readings, and insights into SpO2 levels. It also has a long-lasting battery and integrations with Google Wallet and Google Maps (though it can be used with iOS devices as well as Android). Some of the better features are locked behind a subscription that costs $10 per month, but the gadget still works without that subscription.
This is a great deal for the best electronic sleepbuds, and you’ll also get a free travel case. The earbuds are comfortable to wear while you’re sleeping, and they have 10-hour battery life and passive noise cancelation as well as excellent audio quality. There’s a solid companion app, too, which lets you choose from different Sleep Sounds and access biometric data (which we have not yet tested).
This is a solid deal on the best laptop docking station. The Satechi Dual Dock Stand slightly elevates your laptop for better ergonomics, and it has a collection of ports, including three monitor outputs, several USB ports, and a solid-state drive enclosure. Branch has made our favorite office chair for years. It has oodles of adjustable elements, including the arms, armrests, seat depth, recline, lumbar support, and seat tilt. The foam cushion seat is comfortable and the mesh backrest is supportive, too. The affordable price tag is icing on the cake, and while it doesn’t go on sale very often, you can save 10 percent until the sale ends with code LABORDAY.
If you don’t want to spring for the Ergonomic Chair Pro, this is the best budget-friendly office chair and an option worth considering. It’s very easy to assemble. and there are a few adjustable areas for a better fit—the armrests, seat, recline, and lumbar support can all be dialed in. There are some fun fabric color options, like blue and orange, though the upholstery does tend to pill and is a magnet for pet hair. Even with its quirks, it will be a definite upgrade if you’re still working from the ratty chair you picked up off Craigslist when you first built your home office.
Sitting all day is bad for you! This telescoping desk can be raised up as high as 45 inches, with simple setup and two available sizes. It comes in a few different finishes. The Steelcase Gesture is the best premium office chair. The prices vary slightly depending on the color you choose, but most of them are discounted for Labor Day weekend. The Gesture is comfortable, with a cushy seat and elegant adjustment options. Assembly is easy, and there’s a 12-year warranty. Should you be looking for an office chair upgrade, and you want something a bit more luxurious than the Branch models we’ve mentioned, this is a choice worth considering.
This coupon code gets you 20 percent off almost everything on Humanscale’s website. Humanscale makes some of the best office chairs. The Freedom Headrest is the best reclining office chair, and it drops from $1,743 to $1,394 with code SEMIANNUAL20. There aren’t many things I’ve tested for work that I reach for every day. This is one of them. The ChomChom pet hair remover is beloved among almost all of the pet parents on the WIRED Reviews team. The Traeger Woodridge Pro is an excellent smoker. It’s user-friendly, offering consistent temperature control with just a few buttons. It’s easy to clean when your cookout is over. It can reach temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and down to 180. We wish the app was a bit more detailed, but it isn’t required to produce delicious meals. (Seriously, just look at the photos in this review.)
Mouth tape isn’t for everyone, but Dream is the best we’ve tried. It’s soft, flexible, and breathable, and it stays secure throughout the night. It also doesn’t drop in price very often. If you want to try it out but want to spend a little less, we also liked the Dream Full mouth tape that’s on sale today too.

The Buffy Breeze is one of my favorite comforters. It’s been on my bed since I started testing it more than 3 years ago. It’s cooling in the summer, and its lightweight warmth is just the right amount of comfy for hot nights. But in the winter, it still works well to keep you warm, especially if you throw another blanket on top of it. It isn’t officially marketed as down alternative, but I do like it as an alternative to down.

This is the best budget-friendly travel pillow. The outside is covered in a soft fabric made with recycled water bottles, and the memory foam construction is nice and firm, with high sides so you can easily lean your head toward your shoulder. It also has a chin strap to prevent your head from falling forward. Make sure you choose the option with the carrying case if that’s important to you!
I first started using this when I formerly tested meal kits for WIRED, and I still reach for it nearly every time I process produce in my kitchen. Curie’s natural deodorant is an honorable mention in our buying guide. It caused me some irritation when I first started using it, but a few of my friends and family members really like the formula. It smells great and applies evenly, though you might experience some clothing stains if you apply it under a black t-shirt. The scent doesn’t stick around all day, but it does smell nice when first applied. And that might be a benefit if you want odor protection without a strong scent.

A score of 5 is “recommended with reservations.” It’s important to know what you’re getting, and what you’re getting is easy-to-clean cookware that works fine. The Ooni Volt is the very best electric pizza oven. It can heat up to 850 degrees Fahrenheit, and the triple-pane glass door always lets you see what’s going on. And while you might miss out on some of the vibes that come with a fire-powered oven, the Volt can safely be used indoors and outdoors—so you won’t have to brave the coming winter chill (or supply propane refills) to get your paws on some good ‘za.
Hydroviv makes one of the best shower water filters we’ve tested. The bacteriostatic showerhead was able to filter total chlorine down to undetectable levels in reviewer Matthew Korfhage’s chloramine-treated water. This deal is for the automatically replenishing subscription bundle. Hydroviv says you should replace filters every six months, but you can pause or cancel that subscription if you decide you want to order them separately.

This is the best pickleball paddle if you play every day (or on a very regular basis). The closed-cell foam core is durable (it even has a lifetime warranty!) and can handle intense temperatures. While it might take some getting used to, resident pickleball expert Martin Cizmar says this is the paddle he reaches for most often. It has a soft, forgiving feel and absorbs vibration, making it particularly useful for defensive plays.
Our favorite electric scooter, the Apollo Go, manages to strike an excellent balance between features and price. It weighs 46 pounds and has maximum speeds of 28 miles per hour, though you can tweak top speed, brake strength, and acceleration response in the app. It also has a few extra features like turn signals, a bell, and self-healing tires. We haven’t seen it sell for less.
The Helinox Chair One (re) is an excellent camping chair. It’s a refresh of the cult favorite original, and it has a higher sitting position. It’s still lightweight, packable, and portable. These chairs are surprisingly comfortable and easy to put together. This is the best price we’ve seen for it. We recommend a few other Helinox options in our buying guide, which are also on sale right now.
The XPress 750 is our favorite ebike for folks on a budget. The frame is comfortable and the pedaling feels natural, so it feels more like a classic bike and less like a lean, mean electric machine. The range could be better, but you’ll have no trouble zooming around your neighborhood at top speeds of 28 mph. And the LCD display and controls are simple and easy to use, so this is an especially great bike for beginners.

Breeo makes the best upgrade firepit. The American-made pit has a fire bowl that’s 2 feet wide, so it’ll fit pre-cut wood, and there are a ton of accessories available. (We especially like the live-fire pizza oven, on sale for $723—a $128 discount). The hefty, sturdy base and natural patina (on the Corten steel option) make this a centerpiece worthy of any backyard.
WIRED reviewer Julian Chokkattu tested and loved this outdoor couch and armchair set. The couches come with OuterShell, which is a built-in cover that helps protect the couch cushions from the elements (and stray bird poops). The performance fabric is made from recyclable materials, and the covers are machine washable. Julian still has to see how the couch fares in New York winters, but so far, it’s sturdy and comfortable. We like that the couch is made with Forest Stewardship Council-certified wood. This is a match of the best price we’ve seen for our favorite Theragun. It’s the same model used by many professional sports teams, and it has heat therapy as well as an optional cold therapy attachment (the latter is a separate purchase). There’s a vibration head, LED light therapy, and a guided breathwork option too. If you want to invest in your recovery routine, this is a good way to do it.
The Therabody TheraFace Mask is an LED face mask with vibration. It has red, blue, and near-infrared LEDs, plus vibration motors to help you relax during your three- or nine-minute sessions. We like the cordless, hands-free design, though we wish it had a few more bells and whistles like app controls or a battery indicator. If you’ve been eyeing it, though, it rarely gets cheaper than it is right now.

The lawsuit, filed on Thursday in a California federal court, claims that engineerXuechen Li misappropriated confidential data on “cutting-edge AI technologies with features surpassing ChatGPT” before joining OpenAI earlier this month.
Li’s role at xAI
According to the complaint, Li joined xAI last year and played a key role in developing and training Grok, the company’s conversational AI. The suit alleges he downloaded trade secrets in July, just after agreeing to a position at OpenAI and cashing out $7 million in xAI stock.
xAI further claims Li admitted during a meeting on 14 August to taking company files and attempting to conceal his actions, though investigators later uncovered additional undisclosed material on his devices. The company argues the information could give OpenAI an advantage in enhancing ChatGPT with xAI’s more imaginative features.
OpenAI has not been named as a defendant in the case. Neither Li nor representatives for the two companies have commented publicly on the matter.
Broader rivalry with OpenAI
The legal clash highlights both the intensifying competition for top AI talent and the personal rivalry between Musk and OpenAI, which he co-founded in 2015. Musk is already engaged in separate litigation against OpenAI and its chief executive, Sam Altman, accusing them of straying from the company’s original non-profit mission. OpenAI has filed a countersuit, describing Musk’s actions as harassment.
Earlier this week, xAI also sued OpenAI and Apple in Texas, alleging the two companies are working to monopolise AI services on Apple devices.
In the latest filing, xAI is seeking unspecified damages and a court order preventing Li from taking up his role at OpenAI.

The initial public offer of Amanta Healthcare Ltd got fully-subscribed within hours of opening for bidding on Monday.

The company’s initial public offering (IPO) has a fresh issue of up to 1 crore shares. Price range for the offer has been fixed at ₹120-126 per share. The IPO would conclude on Wednesday.

Archaeologists recently unearthed two churches in Egypt that are over 1,500 years old, offering rare evidence of Christianity’s rise in the country’s Western Desert.
The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced the discovery in a press release in late July. The churches were found at Kharga Oasis, an ancient settlement roughly 350 miles southwest of Cairo.
The site is known for its notable ancient Christian remains, including cemeteries and churches. It has been inhabited since antiquity, thanks to underground water sources.

The team also uncovered ovens and large clay jars set into the ground for storing food, according to officials. Other finds included inscribed pottery shards, vessels, glass and stone pieces, and several burials.

The centerpiece of the excavation, however, was the discovery of two churches. Both structures date back to the early Coptic era, Egypt’s Christianization period that began in the 4th century A.D.
One church was a grand basilica made of mudbrick, with the remnants of a large hall and two aisles, officials said.

The second church, which was smaller, had a rectangular layout and was surrounded “by the remains of seven external columns,” officials said.

“Some of its inner walls were decorated with Coptic inscriptions,” the translated statement said. “To the west of this church, remains of service buildings were also found.”
Beyond the churches, archaeologists also uncovered a remarkable mural of Jesus Christ healing a sick person – a rare depiction during that period.

LONDON (AP) — When pop groups and rock bands practice or perform, they rely on their guitars, keyboards and drumsticks to make music. Oliver McCann, a British AI music creator who goes by the stage name imoliver, fires up his chatbot.
McCann’s songs span a range of genres, from indie-pop to electro-soul to country-rap. There’s just one crucial difference between McCann and traditional musicians.
“I have no musical talent at all,” he said. “I can’t sing, I can’t play instruments, and I have no musical background at all.”
McCann, 37, who has a background as a visual designer, started experimenting with AI to see if it could boost his creativity and “bring some of my lyrics to life.” Last month, he signed with independent record label Hallwood Media after one of his tracks racked up 3 million streams, in what’s billed as the first time a music label has inked a contract with an AI music creator.
McCann is an example of how ChatGPT-style AI song generation tools like Suno and Udio have spawned a wave of synthetic music. A movement most notably highlighted by a fictitious group, Velvet Sundown, that went viral even though all its songs, lyrics and album art were created by AI.
It fueled debate about AI’s role in music while raising fears about “AI slop” — automatically generated low quality mass produced content. It also cast a spotlight on AI song generators that are democratizing song making but threaten to disrupt the music industry.
Experts say generative AI is set to transform the music world. However, there are scant details, so far, on how it’s impacting the $29.6 billion global recorded music market, which includes about $20 billion from streaming.
The most reliable figures come from music streaming service Deezer, which estimates that 18% of songs uploaded to its platform every day are purely AI generated, though they only account for a tiny amount of total streams, hinting that few people are actually listening. Other, bigger streaming platforms like Spotify haven’t released any figures on AI music.
Udio declined to comment on how many users it has and how many songs it has generated. Suno did not respond to a request for comment. Both have free basic levels as well as pro and premium tiers that come with access to more advanced AI models.
“It’s a total boom. It’s a tsunami,” said Josh Antonuccio, director of Ohio University’s School of Media Arts and Studies. The amount of AI generated music “is just going to only exponentially increase” as young people grow up with AI and become more comfortable with it, he said.
Yet generative AI, with its ability to spit out seemingly unique content, has divided the music world, with musicians and industry groups complaining that recorded works are being exploited to train AI models that power song generation tools.
Record labels are trying to fend off the threat that AI music startups pose to their revenue streams even as they hope to tap into it for new earnings, while recording artists worry that it will devalue their creativity.
Three major record companies, Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group and Warner Records, filed lawsuits last year against Suno and Udio for copyright infringement. In June, the two sides also reportedly entered negotiations that could go beyond settling the lawsuits and set rules for how artists are paid when AI is used to remix their songs.
GEMA, a German royalty collection society, has sued Suno, accusing it of generating music similar to songs like “Mambo No. 5” by Lou Bega and “Forever Young” by Alphaville.
More than 1,000 musicians, including Kate Bush, Annie Lennox and Damon Albarn, released a silent album to protest proposed changes to U.K. laws on AI they fear would erode their creative control. Meanwhile, other artists, such as will.i.am, Timbaland and Imogen Heap, have embraced the technology.
Some users say the debate is just a rehash of old arguments about once-new technology that eventually became widely used, such as AutoTune, drum machines and synthesizers.
People complain “that you’re using a computer to do all the work for you. I don’t see it that way. I see it as any other tool that we have,” said Scott Smith, whose AI band, Pulse Empire, was inspired by 1980s British synthesizer-driven groups like New Order and Depeche Mode.
Smith, 56 and a semi-retired former U.S. Navy public affairs officer in Portland, Oregon, said “music producers have lots of tools in their arsenal” to enhance recordings that listeners aren’t aware of.
Like McCann, Smith never mastered a musical instrument. Both say they put lots of time and effort into crafting their music.
Once Smith gets inspiration, it takes him just 10 minutes to write the lyrics. But then he’ll spend as much as eight to nine hours generating different versions until the song “matches my vision.”
McCann said he’ll often create up to 100 different versions of a song by prompting and re-prompting the AI system before he’s satisfied.
AI song generators can churn out lyrics as well as music, but many experienced users prefer to write their own words.
“AI lyrics tend to come out quite cliche and quite boring,” McCann said.
Lukas Rams, a Philadelphia-area resident who makes songs for his AI band Sleeping With Wolves, said AI lyrics tend to be “extra corny” and not as creative as a human, but can help get the writing process started.
“It’ll do very basic rhyme schemes, and it’ll keep repeating the same structure,” said Rams, who writes his own words, sometimes while putting his kids to bed and waiting for them to fall asleep. “And then you’ll get words in there that are very telling of AI-generated lyrics, like ‘neon,’ anything with ‘shadows’.”
Rams used to play drums in high school bands and collaborated with his brother on their own songs, but work and family life started taking up more of his time.
Then he discovered AI, which he used to create three albums for Sleeping With Wolves. He’s been taking it seriously, making a CD jewel case with album art. He plans to post his songs, which combine metalcore and EDM, more widely online.
“I do want to start putting this up on YouTube or socials or distribution or whatever, just to have it out there,” Rams said. “I might as well, otherwise I’m literally the only person that hears this stuff.”
Experts say AI’s potential to let anyone come up with a hit song is poised to shake up the music industry’s production pipeline.
“Just think about what it used to cost to make a hit or make something that breaks,” Antonuccio said. “And that just keeps winnowing down from a major studio to a laptop to a bedroom. And now it’s like a text prompt — several text prompts.”
But he added that AI music is still in a “Wild West” phase because of the lack of legal clarity over copyright. He compared it to the legal battles more than two decades ago over file-sharing sites like Napster that heralded the transition from CDs to digital media and eventually paved the way for today’s music streaming services.
Creators hope AI, too, will eventually become a part of the mainstream music world.
“I think we’re entering a world where anyone, anywhere could make the next big hit,” said McCann. “As AI becomes more widely accepted among people as a musical art form, I think it opens up the possibility for AI music to be featured in charts.”

When they introduce themselves to each other and reach out to shake hands, their fingers barely touch—a clever detail that foreshadows what lies ahead, hinting that the two may be meant for each other but still have to rely on what fate has in store for them.
Much like many travel stories, the film takes us to exotic European locations and uses convenient storytelling detours to finally reach its conclusion. Jack keeps his late grandfather’s journal, which he uses to retrace the old man’s experiences traversing Europe during World War II. The journal subtly functions as a plot device to keep the two protagonists together for some time, as Heather, smitten by Jack, accompanies him as they hop from one destination to another.

HDFC Bank’s valuation eroded ₹47,482.49 crore to ₹14,60,863.90 crore.
The mcap of ICICI Bank tanked ₹27,135.23 crore to ₹9,98,290.96 crore and that of Bharti Airtel dropped ₹24,946.71 crore to ₹10,77,213.23 crore.
The valuation of LIC fell ₹23,655.49 crore to ₹5,39,047.93 crore and that of State Bank of India dived ₹12,692.1 crore to ₹7,40,618.60 crore.
The mcap of Bajaj Finance declined ₹10,471.08 crore to ₹5,45,490.31 crore and that of Infosys edged lower by ₹7,540.18 crore to ₹6,10,463.94 crore.
However, the market valuation of TCS jumped ₹11,125.62 crore to ₹11,15,962.91 crore.
The mcap of Hindustan Unilever climbed ₹7,318.98 crore to ₹6,24,991.28 crore.
Reliance Industries remained the most valued firm followed by HDFC Bank, TCS, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, Bajaj Finance and LIC.

The fee would charge non-immigrant travelers visiting the U.S. $250 due at the time visas are issued and was enacted as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
Countries such as Mexico, China, and Brazil will take on the most heat, with the cost for non-visa waiver countries now nearing $442, per the U.S. Travel Association.

The largest numbers of international visitors in May were from Mexico, Canada, the United Kingdom, India and Brazil, according to the International Inbound Travel Association.

Overseas visitors to the U.S. dropped 3.1% in July from the same time last year, according to Reuters.
The new fee comes as the U.S. prepares to host America250 events, the Olympics and the FIFA World Cup matches.

The U.S. isn’t alone—countries worldwide are adding entry fees and tightening screening to capitalize on tourism while cracking down on abuse.
The British government recently rolled out an “Electronic Travel Authorization” (ETA) that digitizes tourists’ requests to visit the country while paying a fee of about $13.
The ETAs are linked to a traveler’s passport in an effort to smooth security checks and “prevent abuse” of the immigration system.

On Wednesday, the Trump administration proposed a rule to limit the length of time international students can remain in the U.S. for their studies to four years and the duration of visas for cultural exchange visitors and members of the media.
The rule would limit how long certain visa holders are allowed to stay in the U.S., according to a press release from the Department of Homeland Security.

This fan was a great companion during a late summer parade, providing some airflow without much noise. At only four ounces and with a small lanyard, you could definitely attach this fan to your phone or keychain to always have it at the ready. It has 10 to 17 hours of battery life, depending on which of the two speeds you use. I wish the higher speed was stronger—it helped provide some relief during a parade, but it didn’t totally prevent sweating, like the PlayHot Portable Handheld Turbo Fan. Still, for the price, size, and low noise level, it’s a decent cooling option. The Aecooly fan ($10) is also a small, slim, pocket- or purse-sized option.
