The newest PS5 console is here just before the end of 2023 – and here’s where you can pre-order the PS5 Slim as well as the best prices and deals.

The PS5 Slim console comes with everything you want from one of the best selling consoles of all time but with a smaller form factor, making it easier to place in your bedroom, your study or next to your TV.

Don’t be deceived by its size as you will still get all the power and the speed of a normal PS5 console but just in a smaller console. And for those people who recently bought a larger console, don’t worry as the PS5 Slim won’t run your games faster or slower.

You’ll still be able to enjoy a whole variety of games such as God of War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Horizon: Forbidden West, Ratchet and Clank and more.

From today (November 23), you can now pre-order the PS5 Slim and we’ve complied a list of where you can buy and the best deals so you don’t have to break your bank. Meanwhile, we have complied a list of the best PS5 deals if you want the best bang for your buck.

If you have been looking for a PS5 Slim, multiple retailers have now opened up pre-orders to launch next week from Wednesday November 29th.

That means you’ll have to wait just under a week to get the console in your hands but it’s probably worth it to get the newest device in your hands.

You can currently pre-order the disc console from retailers such as:

Like the normal PS5 console, you can also get a digital edition without a disc drive for cheaper. But this time, you can also purchase a disc drive seperately for £99 if you want to upgrade.

The PS5 Slim digital console also be bought from:

If you have been wondering what the differences are between the new PS5 Slim and the old PS5, here’s the things that you need to know about the two consoles.

In terms of hardware, there are very little, noticable differences when it comes to the PS5 Slim. The internals of the device are almost identical so you won’t need to worry about the slim or the larger PS5 console running your games differently.

The only real noticable difference is the storage on the PS5 Slim. The new console has a full 1TB of storage this time around compared to the 825GB on the standard PS5.

Another small difference is with the digital PS5 console. Sony has now allowed users to buy a detachable disc drive with the digital console if you want to spread out the cost.

The biggest differences between the two PS5 console are the size and the price of the console.

In terms of size, Sony has managed to cut an impressive 30 per cent off the original PS5 console so if size is important then you’ll definitely want to consider the PS5 Slim.

Another big difference is the price. The PS5 Slim is currently being sold for the recommended retail price of £479.99.

But if you’re looking for the best PS5 deals, then you’ll find that the bigger console will be better value. We’ve seen some bigger consoles go for £369 during Black Friday or £399 which includes a free game.

If you really need the most up-to-date console or size is a big issue, we suggest you go for the slim console but you will be paying a premium but if you want a good deal, stick with the original console.
